Tegan and Sara is set to go on tour in 2012. The concert tour dates will consist of a limited amount of shows in Canada and United States; supporting their 6th studio album ‘Sainthood’ that was released in late October 2009. The first leading single off the CD is ‘Hell’ that was first sited on itunes in early Oct. The indie rock band that consist of twins from Alberta, Canada; album debuted on Billboard Top 200. ‘Sainthood’ is produced by lead guitarist Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie.

Tegan and Sara changed their music perspective in this album. It is totally different from the previously albums. However the band is ready to kick off their new sound and new era in 2010. “It’s less of a goal to get on radio and more of a goal to not resist radio as much as we have in the past,” Sara Quin said. “We’ve had a really comfortable arc in our career, but at this point we recognize there is a fan base we have yet to entice. With this album, I know we have a shot at it.”
