Kings of Leon is ready to kick off the band’s tour in 2012. The concert tour dates this summer and fall will consist of over 40 shows throughout the United States and Canada. The Grammy Award winning band will be supporting their album “Only by the Night” which was released in 2009. The Alternative rock band from Tennessee is currently working on a new album in twenty-ten; no confirmed details yet on the release date. The current band members are Anthony Caleb Followill [lead vocals, rhythm guitar]; Ivan Nathan Followill [drums, percussion, backing vocals]; Michael Jared Followill [bass, backing vocals], and their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill [lead guitar, backing vocals].

Kings of Leon in January won three Grammys, including record of the year, for its 2008 release “Only by the Night,” which has sold 1.8 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
