Harry Connick Jr is preparing to go on tour in 2012. The ‘Your Songs concert tour dates’ will consist of over 20 shows throughout the United States. The 3 time Grammy Award winning artist is supporting his recent released album ‘Your Songs” which was slated in mid September 2009. The multi-platinum selling artist has relinquish 2 singles “(They Long to Be) Close to You” and “Just the Way You Are” off his new double disc LP; recent one ‘All the way’.

This is Connick first time collaborating with music producer Clive Davis (J Records) on the album. The ‘Your Songs’ (album) peaked at #8 on Billboard 200. The jazz artist has sold over 25 millions records worldwide. In a recent interview Connick Jr talks about his new CD and its emotional level…
I just sing what it means to me. I think people respond to an honest interpretation more than anything else. I’m not trying to be romantic. I think you can tell when people are trying to be sexy onstage. When I was doing ‘All the Way,’ I was really thinking about my wife. People don’t know my personal experience, but they can tell it’s an honest interpretation. If you have these great songs, it’s like anybody can sing them. They just kind of sing themselves.
