The Flaming Lips is ready to rock a dynamic tour in 2012. The concert dates will consist of over 30 concerts throughout the Canada, United States and the UK. The alternative rock band will be supporting their 13th studio album ‘The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon’ which was released on late December 2009.

Their reworking of the classic 1973 album is a collaboration with Stardeath and White Dwarfs, the band that features Wayne Coyne’s nephew Dennis on vocals. Guest appearances come from Henry Rollins and the female rapper and electropop artist Peaches.

The 3 time Grammy Award winning group is comprised of Wayne Coyne ~ lead vocals, guitarist, keyboards, theremin, bass guitarist;Michael Ivins ~ bass, keyboards, backing vocals;Steven Drozd ~ guitarist, lead vocals, keyboards, bass, backing vocals and Kliph Scurlock ~ drums, percussion.
The tour includes performances in twenty-twelve is noted below. The opening act or supporting act will be Fang Island and Stardeath and White Dwarfs on selected dates; set-list could vary throughout the world tour stretch.
