Corinne Bailey Rae is set to go on tour in 2012. The concert schedule will consist of a very limited amount of shows throughout United States and the United Kingdom. More confirmed dates nearing in the future.The 2 time Grammy Award winning soul-pop singer-songwriter and guitarist will be supporting her recent released 2nd studio album ‘The Sea’ which was released in late January. The highly publicize new album peaked at #7 on Billboard 200.

“The Sea” was mostly recorded live in the studio to capture a more organic feel in the vein of Helen, the all-female rock band she formed and fronted as a teenager. Many of those musicians joined Rae on the road for her preview tour, which in addition to New York hit Los Angeles, Canada and England. “I knew I wanted to bring in the feeling of the live gigs,” Rae says, “where everything could turn at the last minute.”
