Daughtry is set to go on tour in 2010. The concert dates will consist of over 50 shows throughout the United States and Canada so far;(Tour Dates below). The pop rock band will be supporting their 2nd studio album “Leave This Town” which was released in mid July 2009. Daughtry’s first leading single off the band sophmore album is “No Surprise”; followed by “Life After You”.
Since the release of “Leave This Town” the album peaked at #1 on Billboard top 200 and sold almost a million copies to date.[Source:Daughtry claims second No. 1 on U.S. album chart]The band is comprised of former American Idol finalist and frontman Chris Daughtry (lead vocals, rhythm guitarist),Josh Steely (lead guitarist, back-up vocals),Brian Caddock (rhythm guitarist, back-up vocals),Josh “JP” Paul (bass guitarist, back-up vocal) and Joey Barnes (drums, percussion, back-up vocals, keyboards). The opening acts or supporting acts will be Lifehouse and Cavo.
